Mari Minerals (Pvt.) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of MariEnergies, was established in 2023 as part of MariEnergies’ diversification strategy. Initially focused on transition minerals, the company targets the highly prospective Tethyan Magmatic Belt, renowned for its significant porphyry copper systems.
To support its exploration efforts, MariMinerals has incorporated historical data and developed a comprehensive GIS database for regional mining potential analysis. The company collaborated with international consultants to conduct a regional target generation and mineral scoping study, covering 48,000 sq. km of Chagai District. This study identified new prospects for copper, gold, and lithium. Based on these findings, MariMinerals secured exploration licenses, including EL-186, EL-322, and EL-323, and has submitted additional applications for exploration licenses in high-potential areas for copper, gold, and lithium.
With over 2,500 sq. km of exploration acreage, MariMinerals has rapidly built one of the largest copper mineral exploration portfolios in the country. The company is also pursuing strategic partnerships and collaborating with local license holders to further expand its portfolio, contributing to the sustainable development of Pakistan’s mineral resources. Currently, MariMinerals holds working interest in seven licenses and has already commenced drilling in one of its highly ranked prospects.
